GKS Environmental Limited is an exposure monitoring and assessment consultancy. We assess the occupational risk to employees usually by measuring exposure to a hazardous substances or of noise levels.

We have £5m professional indemnity insurance enabling us to work for very large companies and also small companies with the knowledge that they are fully insured.

We work throughout the United Kingdom including Ireland, Scotland and Northern France.

Having been in business for 12 years we have a good client base which includes probably the largest UK food manufacturer. In addition to aggregates companies, defence and electronics industries, and shipbuilding.

We recently worked on the new station at Kings Cross where we monitored and advised on controls for dust, lead dust and noise. The New Kings Cross station will be the base of Eurostar in the UK and will be the start of the high speed rail link to Europe and it was good to be a small part of that project.

We have links with the occupational health world and can help with suppliers of health surveillance and safety training.

GKS Environmental is listed in the IOSH and IOH register of consultants as such have to undergo continuous professional development helping to ensure that we stay in touch with the changes in the requirements of industry.

We carry out internal analysis of gravimetric samples for dust and where external laboratories are used we ensure that the methods of analysis are quality controlled and that validated and where possible UKAS accredited methods are adopted.
