The Insulation Business Unit of nmc provides information on its tube insulation and sheet insulation for the Specifier, the Consultant, the Contractor and the Client.

The product range is primarily used in the refrigeration, air-conditioning, heating and plumbing industries. The tube insulation and sheet insulation are manufactured from preformed flexible foam polyethylene and preformed flexible elastomeric foam rubber.

The Products for Insulation purposes will begin to come under the European Standard Classification from the year 2001 and receive a CE label, (especially for fire classification). There is however an introduction time scale of 5 to 10 years for full implemention of these standards into the United Kingdom.
