Farrat was founded in 1959 and since then has amassed a wealth of experience in all aspects of vibration, noise and shock isolation and control in both industrial and building applications.
Farrat is now a leading player in the field of vibration control engineering and machine mounting methods. As an engineering company we strive to create solutions that meet or exceed the technical and commercial requirements and as a product supplier we aim to provide a high level of product quality, delivered on time and at a fair price.
Our strategy is to be a ‘Complete Solution Provider’ for all aspects of vibration control engineering and machine mountings. Vibration problems are often very individual cases depending on the vibration source the environment that it is in. Because of this the solutions often need to be individually tailored. With this in mind and based on the wide variety of projects that Farrat has been involved in, our product portfolio has steadily grown over the years with new and innovative ways of solving problems. Much of the product range is manufactured by Farrat allowing greater freedom in solution design as well as flexibility in supply.
Aside from the project based work, Farrat stocks a wide range of standard items such as machine mounts and vibration isolators that can be purchased directly with, in some cases, same day dispatch.

Farrat's comprehensive range of elastomeric anti-vibration materials can be used in all areas of structure and building construction to reduce structure-borne vibration across a wide frequency range. 
Farrat’s floating floor systems have been developed to provide high levels of acoustic and vibration performance whilst being economical, easy and quick to install. 
Farrat's high loading TBG and TBN thermal break connection plates act as high performance thermal insulators between internal and external steelwork and concrete (cantilevered beams & balconies etc) to prevent thermal / cold bridging.
