When your instrument has been calibrated at Brüel & Kjær, you have proof that it performs to specifications. Your instrument can, if necessary, be repaired while in our hands.
Accredited Calibration including measurement results (recommended)

Details of how we calibrate
Rental Services
As an alternative to purchasing equipment, or to protect your investment and avoid downtime during repair or calibration, Brüel & Kjær's Rental Programme allows you to rent a limited range of equipment for a period of two weeks, four weeks, or longer.
Why Rent a Product?
- Avoid loss of productivity when your own equipment is undergoing repair or calibration
- Avoid purchasing expensive investment, for example, if you only have few measurement per year
- No unexpected costs
- As a consultant you can offer more services to your customers
Price of Rental?
The price of rental is based on the price of the Brüel & Kjær equipment to be covered by this service and is determined by the current list price.
How to Rent?
When you have signed the rental contract you will receive the equipment as soon as possible. The equipment should be returned no later than three business days after the rental expires.

Option to Buy
By renting equipment from Brüel & Kjær, you have first refusal on purchase of the rented equipment.
Additional Options
For an additional charge, Brüel & Kjær can set up the equipment on site to meet your requirements as well as provide the necessary training in the use of the equipment.

Verification
In general, all equipment for rental is less than one year old. All equipment is thoroughly checked to ensure that it is working correctly. On request, the equipment can be accredited calibrated and a calibration certificate can be delivered at additional cost.
Conditions and Exclusions
- Microphones and accelerometers are only available for rent as part of a system
- A limited range of goods are offered; contact your local Service Centre for more information
- You must sign a rental contract with Terms and Conditions
- All freight costs are to be paid by the customer
Warranty
Standard warranty period on instruments from Brüel & Kjær is one year.
On Falcon Range microphones, Brüel & Kjær provides three years' warranty: Types 4188, 4189, 4190, 4191, 4192, 4193, 4198, 4938, 4939, 4940, 4941, 4942, 4943, 4950, 4952, 4953, 4954, 4955
On Falcon Range preamplifiers, Brüel & Kjær provides three years warranty (excluding cable): 2669-B, 2669-C, 2669-L, 2670, 2671, 2673, 2695.
Up to Five Years Warranty
You can order extension of warranty until the instrument is five years old.
Repair Warranty
You have three months warranty on repair, labour and spare parts.

Repair
If your instrument requires repair or adjustment, Brüel & Kjær skilled engineers are on hand to do the work. At the same time we can perform preventive maintenance, repair and calibration.
Your Brüel & Kjær equipment is serviced on test systems developed specifically for each product. Original spare parts are always used, to secure the product meets the published specifications.

Please note: If manufacturer’s warranty has expired, the instrument must pass a Conformance test before warranty can be extended.
