As can be seen, we specialise in the supply, delivery and erection of prefabricated buildings that can be easily relocated by our erection team, or your workforce aided by our supervisor. The buildings summarised below form our main market but we are also able to supply other types of building to individual requirement.
Quickway Buildings are supplied in seven different spans, ready clad in P.V.C. coated trapezoidal profiled steel cladding. Buildings can be supplied either uninsulated or insulated as required, the insulation being protected by a paint finished liner sheet. All Quickway Buildings are designed for wind speeds up to 52m/s.
The buildings are delivered in a preclad panel form that is easily connected and unfolded to form the number of modules for the required length of building. The endwalls are also supplied as preclad panels. Personnel doors and larger openings covered by side sliding or roller shutter doors can be incorporated into both end or side elevations of the building. By using this method of building, which complies with the Building Regulations, prices range from £8 to £18 per sq.ft., subject to specification supplied, delivered and erected on your prepared base.
All dimensions shown in our literature are standard, but we are able to:
- Supply larger doors in the ends up to total width opening.
- Supply buildings with varying eaves heights.
- Supply insulated buildings only with up to four hours fire resistance.
For many years we have supplied relocatable folding buildings to many commercial companies providing them with either permanent or relocatable units. Being relocatable these units are ideally suitable if the land is leased or rented. The buildings can be quickly expanded as business expands. Quickway may negotiate the repurchase of a client's building or exchange the building for a larger unit.
With the regrettable increase in theft and vandalism from construction and engineering sites, construction companies are now having to look at site security and storage, and we feel our buildings may be an answer to help minimise the problem by taking into consideration the following points:
- The relocatability of the building. Some buildings still in use that are in excess of 25 years old.
- Because the building supplies a totally enclosed area this can be effectively alarmed to help protect against theft and vandalism.
- Materials stored in a Quickway Building can easily be controlled by one man.
- Because the materials are enclosed within a building, casual theft can be stopped (if it's not seen, it's not wanted).
- By using scaffold racking more materials can be stored in a smaller ground area.
Any Quickway Building can be extended at any time by the purchasing of more standard modules. Our literature gives details of the standard sizes available, and we would welcome the opportunity to submit a quotation, without obligation, on a sale basis, with buyback or hire options.
