PCE has launched a new range of AirFlow Test units designed especially for assembled cap market i.e. sports caps etc.

Two units are currently in the range. The Lab Tester is a manually loaded unit specifically designed to give quantitative test data for the batch sample testing. Results easily exported as a .csv file through the USB port.

The Rotational Tester is capable of testing up to 20,000 caps per hour and is designed to be in-line with the assembly machine.

Both units are capable of finding a 2cc/minute leak at 2 bar air pressure in a <2 second test time. Technology can be adapted to accurately test most small volume closures, valves and spray nozzles to either confirm orifice size or seal qualitiy.
