Date: 02/04/2007

M.R. Site Services’ aluminium welding expertise played a major part in the roof construction at Enterprise House on Londons' South Bank, which received a coveted Kalzip award under ‘Best Fabrications,’ for T.R. Freeman Ltd roofing contractors.

MR Site Services completed the aluminium welding of no less than 1500 metres of Kalzip 65/400 stucco-embossed radial sheet used on the barrel vault roof of this L shaped building.  The striking design by architects A:kitekts features six oriel windows set into the curved roof, all of which required to be welded into place along with the welding needs for all the gutters and hips and other roof penetrations.
Gary Webb, managing director of T. R. Freeman which was congratulated on its overall management of the project by main contractors Faithdean Plc., commented, “ We were extremely impressed with M.R. Site Services’ work on Enterprise House which was at all times, high quality and totally professional.  They were always available for helpful advice whenever required.”
Building work at Enterprise House comprised a two-storey addition to create a six-storey building, so providing an extra 1860 sq. metres of office space.  With its prime position adjacent to the famous Oxo Tower, the development has become one of the most impressive new landmarks along the South Bank.
