The Denis Ferranti Group, based in North Wales, has announced a major investment in production capacity.

This investment will allow the company to meet its growing machined parts business for commercial engines and gearboxes, and Defence supply operations.

The Group has a well established reputation as a quality led manufacturing outsource for a wide range of engineered products. The plant covers over 30,000 square metres of factory space, with an impressive array of procedures and processes located under one roof. This latest investment costing over £1/2 Million consists of a Daewoo Puma 1800SY Twin Turret CNC Turning Centre, and a Daewoo Puma 2000SY Milling Centre. Ken Galliford (General Manager) commented, ‘ At a time when British manufacturing is under severe pressure, it is significant that we have demonstrated there is still a healthy market for quality specialist engineering in the UK. Our partners, such as Perkins, BT and the MOD appreciate our abilities to provide tailor made solutions to their supply chain’.
