Networking solutions specialist Emitex has just launched a high performance and hardwearing UTP Cat 5E PVC & Polyethelene sheathed cable.

Similar cables often only have a single sheath protective shell but Emitex’s latest product is double sheathed for extra protection.  This allows the contractor to use the cable in outdoor situations and rest assured that it can withstand most weather conditions.  It is also suitable for underground ducting, even if the area is partially flooded.

The UTP Cat 5E external grade cable performs to an impressive 100 MHz and is available to the branch network.  Like all Emitex products, the cable has been subject to stringent testing and meets industry standards for quality and performance.
