From 7th July 2007, GWS Systems - leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of Sovella workspace equipment and systems for manufacturing, engineering and scientific applications, has announced that the company will henceforth be known simply as Sovella

The Finnish-owned company, whose UK operation is based in Horsham, West Sussex, has taken this step as part of the natural development of the global Sovella brand. All existing company, service and contact information will remain precisely the same.

“Well-established across the world, the Sovella brand is synonymous with modern, high quality human workspace” explains Mark Burletson, the company’s UK General Manager. “Changing the company name from GWS Systems to Sovella will serve to strengthen this positive association between the company and the brand, which many companies already view as one and the same.”

He adds, “It also puts us in good shape to develop new market opportunities in specialist assembly and emerging manufacturing areas, such as aero electronics, medical device and nano-technology applications. Here, the pace of change in research, development and manufacturing techniques demands an equally dynamic approach to workspace form and function. We’re sure the modularity of Sovella’s products will prove a key factor in their successful and efficient evolution.”
