The new fibre-optic visual inspection tool has been designed for quick diagnosis of maintenance and repair problems. New to the autumn ATP catalogue, it is ideal for piping under floorboards and wall cavities, inspecting filters and dampers in ducting, checking corrosion, friction wear and damage to internal components.
Robust and ergonomically designed the fibrescope is easy to guide through hollow spaces, bore holes and bends. With its waterproof lens and tube and a flexible cable with a bending radius of 50mm, the probe can be used in hard to reach areas such as air ducts, ventilators, machines and motors.
The AFIB-319 is available at the ATP Instrumentation website and can be found in the ATP Instrumentation catalogue. The fibre optic tool also comes supplied with batteries.
There are many optional extras also available including the ‘Fibrescope Kit’ which includes a gooseneck tube, magnet and mirror attachments and carry case.
