The new low cost Merivaara Practico Shoulder Arthroscopy Operating Table was the star attraction at the recent British Elbow and Shoulder Surgery Conference in Liverpool.
Designed for fast track shoulder surgery the table eliminates the manual handling of patients into the beach chair position. The table has large removable panels in the backrest which give optimum surgical access and a unique multi-position headrest which can accommodate ALL patients.
Used in conjunction with the patient restraint system and multi-position armboard even the largest patient is held securely and symmetrically on the table.
Suitable for use in the Day Surgery or Orthopaedic Operating Theatre, the Practico greatly improves the overall efficiency within the operating theatre by reducing set up and operating time and by reducing the need for support staff to position patients.
The table is supplied with all the accessories for shoulder surgery and a general surgery headrest within the purchase price.
