PCE Automation Ltd has recently gained an order for our revised range of De-palletisers. The unit operates by sweeping the complete layer of bottles off the pallet onto an indexing conveyor. The conveyor has the capacity for two pallet layers of bottles to allow time to exchange the empty pallet. Both manual & fully automatic pallet exchanges are available.

 

Due to the shape of the containers involved with the project, the two rows of containers will be picked and placed on to two lanes of the out feed conveyor, before merging into a single lane through to the filling line.

 

Included in the above project is a bottle blow-out station to ensure that no foreign bodies are in the containers before filling. The unit is continuous in operation and utilises Bosch Rexroth VarioFlow side grip conveyor technology to invert the containers, before being blown out with de-ionised air. By utilising the modular conveyors it has been possible to lower the containers from the pallet height of 1400mm to the filling lines 900mm in a controlled manor. Hand wheels allow for quick changes between container sizes.
